A world of curiosities and surprises, where, every day, creatures big and small bite off more than they can chew.
(pea-rexes growling) Join us as we follow the adventures of Ginger, a young tricarrotops, and her unlikely little friends, three baby pea-rexes, Wasabi, Split, and Minty, as they discover the many wonders that exist in this vast valley!
- Woohoo!
This is Ginger and the "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle music) (Ginger slurping) - Mm!
Delicious!
(baby pea-rexes laughing and cheering) - Whoa!
(bokchoydactyl calling) Wow!
Look at that!
(sighs) I'd love to be able to fly.
(wind whistling) Then again, what's stopping me?
- [Narrator] Ginger is trying to use the honeysuckle to enable flight.
- Say hello to the world's first flying tricarrotops!
- [Narrator] This breed of vegesaur has never successfully taken to the air.
- Woohoo!
We have lift-off!
Huh?
(air whistling) Uh-oh!
Whoa!
(grunts) - [Narrator] Gravity wins again.
(pea-rexes laughing) - All right, all right.
You think you can do a better job of flying?
- Yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
(babbling) (pea-rex panting) Woo-hoo!
- Yay!
- Yay!
You rock!
- Yay!
Woo!
- Way to go, Minty!
(laughs) Minty, look out!
(bokchoydactyl calling) - Wee!
- Oh no!
Come back!
(Minty gasps) Hang in there, Minty!
We're coming!
- [Narrator] The bokchoydactyl thinks Minty is one of it's own!
(bokchoydactyl groans inquisitively) Oh my.
It's now realising something's not quite right.
(bokchoydactyls cheering happily) (Minty squawks curiously) (bokchoydactyl hums in interest) It's time to practise flying.
The mother tickers her young to make them laugh, a reaction that triggers their wing muscles.
(baby bokchoydactyl panting) (baby bokchoydactyl cooing happily) - If the mother bokchoydactyl does that to Minty, Minty will be mush!
(pea-rexes gasp) (strawberrisauruses groaning) We need a soft landing for Minty, and I've got just the idea!
- Wha?
- [Narrator] A strawberrisaurus is over 90% water, so whilst they're very big, they're also very bouncy.
- Round them up!
- Oh!
Okay.
- Yee-haw!
(giggling) Yah!
(cheering) (strawberrisaurus groaning) This way!
(grunts) (pea-rexes panting) (strawberrisaurus groaning) (pea-rexes cheering) - Come on!
I need to get them to the base of that cliff!
(baby bokchoydactyl coos and laughs) (Minty gasps and snores) (Minty sighs) (baby bokchoydactyls giggling) - Whee!
- Uh, - [Narrator] Oh my.
It's time for Minty's flying lesson.
- Wha!
(giggles) (Minty gulps) (Minty giggling) - Whoa!
- [Narrator] The bokchoydactyl realises Minty is, in fact, a pea-rex!
- (gasps) Just in time!
(Minty gasping) (bokchoydactyl growls) - [Narrator] Luckily, strawberrisaurus rumps are soft and bouncy.
- Whoa!
(bokchoydactyl grunts and yells) - Whoa!
- (giggling) Gotcha.
(bokchoydactyl groans) I think we'd better stick to solid ground from now on.
- [Narrator] Ah, yeah.
Ginger and the peas decide to leave flying for creatures with wings.
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - [Narrator] The giant woolly Kiwimammuthus resides in the snowy mountains surrounding the Vegesaur Valley.
During the height of winter, Kiwimammuthus enter a hibernation, burying themselves into burrows beneath the snow.
When they do awake, they're full of energy and can often be seen galumphing around the peaks.
(upbeat music) (Kiwimammuthus laughing) - [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) (pea-rex whining) When not feeling well, baby pea-rexes become cry babies.
- Don't worry, Wasabi!
This will fix your headache.
And you'll be jumping about in no time.
Inhale deeply.
(Wasabi inhales and sighs) See how it clears the head?
Cool, huh?
- Ah!
- [Narrator] Tricarrotops are aware of the extra ordinary healing properties of ancient plants.
(Minty hiccuping) - Oh!
- I know just the cure for that, too, Minty!
Hmm.
(gasps softly) Here we go.
(pea-rex growling) Whoa!
(pea-rex growling and snarling) - [Narrator] This adult pea-rex has injured its leg.
- Okay.
- [Narrator] Making its attack rather clumsy.
(pea-rex groaning) (pea-rexes gasping) - [Narrator] This is a mama pea-rex.
She's been separated from her pod.
Mama pea-rexes are big on family.
- Hiya.
I'm Ginger!
I just wanna say, (gasps) (mama pea-rex snarls) Nasty injury you have there.
(gasps) Hey, I know just the thing.
Hmm, where is it?
Hmm.
Aha!
- Ugh!
- Eugh.
I call it Wonder Goo.
Just rub a bit on your leg.
- Hmm.
- [Narrator] The Wonder Goo is working wonders.
The mama pea-rex's leg seems to have healed.
Amazing!
- You're welcome.
(mama pea-rex snarling) - [Narrator] The baby pea-rexes are quick to defend Ginger.
She is a friend, not an enemy!
But the mama pea is not convinced.
- Now that you leg is better, why don't you join us at the jumping rock area?
Heaps of fun.
(mama pea-rex blow raspberry and laughs) You know what?
It's better you stay here and get to know each other some more.
(mama pea-rex babbling) Okay then.
I'll be off by myself.
But, if you change your mind, you know where to find me!
(playful music) (Ginger laughs sheepishly) (Ginger panting and laughing) Hey, Minty!
Check this out.
Oh, forgot.
Not here.
I'll just show off to me, then.
(Ginger grunts) Oh.
Woo-hoo!
Whoa!
(Ginger yelping) Whoa!
(Ginger grunts and groans) I shouldn't have eaten so much for breakfast.
Minty, Wasabi, Split!
I know you are busy, but, (pea-rex snarls) I knew you would come.
This place really rocks!
Generally speaking.
Um, where are the others?
- [Narrator] Looks like Ginger has gotten her pea-rexes mixed up.
This is not the mama pea-rex she met before.
- Uh-oh.
Wrong team.
- [Narrator] The pea-rexes can't believe their luck.
A sit down meal!
(pea-rexes snarling) (mama pea-rex roars) It's clear who's in charge here!
The mama pea tells the pod the Ginger is friend!
- Couldn't agree more.
(Ginger gasps) Don't worry.
I'll be able to slip out once it rains!
Which should be any week now.
(baby pea-rexes babbling) (mama pea-rex babbling and snarling) (pea-rex pod snarling) - Hey, I thought we were all good here!
- [Narrator] The pea-rexes are using their sheer numbers to shift those boulders apart.
- Huh?
Ah!
(Ginger gasps) (pea-rexes cooing) (laughs) Aww, you guys!
(pea-rex laughing) (pea-rexes cooing) (mama pea-rex hiccups) Hey!
I know!
Just the thing for that.
(laughs) (mama pea-rex hiccuping) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together!
